Ban on Vishwaroopam took to the social networking sites and media like a storm. Here's what these celebs had to say;
Kamal Haasan: I think Tamil Nadu wants me out. I will have to seek a secular state to stay in, from Kashmir to Kerala. If I cannot find in India, I will hopefully find another secular country to take me in. MF Hussain had to do it, Haasan will do it.
Rajinikanth: I request Muslim brethren to give up their demand to ban Vishwaroopam. Please discuss with Kamal how to make changes without affecting the storyline. Kamal's screening for Muslims before the theatrical release shows his love and regard for them.

Manish Tewari: Time-cinematographic act revisited to ensure implementational integrity (of) certification decisions, otherwise each state would be its own censor (board). Go there insist that you wanna see it, there is a supreme court judgement after the film is censored no body can stop it."
Rahul Bose: I don't think there was anything objectionable in Vishwaroopam for it to be banned.
